Privacy Policy

• Your inventory, grocery lists, and recipes are stored on your device. Cheekful works offline and doesn't require an account to use.
• We don't sell your personal information, and we never will.
• Optional features that use AI (like Smart Add and Use It Up suggestions) send only the specific text or image you provide to complete that request.

Kitchen data you enter. Items, quantities, expiration dates, locations, grocery lists, and recipes are stored locally on your device so the app is fast and works without a connection.

Content you send to AI features. When you use Smart Add (receipt photo or pasted text) or ask for Use It Up meal ideas, the content you submit is sent to our AI processing provider to generate a response. It is used to fulfill that request and is not used to build an advertising profile.

Basic diagnostics. We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage and crash information to understand what's broken and what to improve. This does not include the contents of your pantry.

• To provide and operate the app's features.
• To generate AI suggestions you explicitly ask for.
• To diagnose crashes and improve performance and reliability.

We do not use your kitchen data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the app — for example, the AI provider that powers Smart Add and meal suggestions, and crash-reporting tools. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

• You can add, edit, and delete your items and lists at any time inside the app.
• Because your data lives on your device, uninstalling the app removes the data stored locally.
• You can choose not to use AI-powered features; the rest of the app works without them.

Data you enter stays on your device until you delete it or remove the app. Content sent to AI features is retained only as long as needed to process your request and for our providers' standard operational periods.

Cheekful is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
